New Year, New Business – Celebrant online planning workshop

Right then, who wants to start off 2020 with a bang? Not just a loud bang that fizzles out within seconds, but a big bang that keeps ringing.

Okay, so enough of the metaphors, let’s jump straight into real talk!

Success as a celebrant, whatever your definition of success is, does not happen by accident. Nor does it happen by magic, wishful-thinking, having good intentions, or even just working hard.

Success comes about in three main ways.

  1. Getting clear what you want.
  2. Making a plan
  3. Taking action

It’s a fact that many people don’t achieve their goals, not because they weren’t possible to achieve, but because they either never set them properly in the first place or never saw them through to the end. Goal setting is about creating a great start that ends with a great finish.

And this is exactly what we’re going to do on my New Year, New Business Online Planning Workshop. I’m going to get you to start off 2020 in exactly the way that you mean to carry on! Smashing the goals that you set out to smash! Starting the year full of confidence and motivation.

I am going to show you exactly how I plan out my goals and get the results that I plan for. I’m not a genius, or extremely lucky, I just plan my goals properly.

Who is this workshop for?

  • This is a workshop for wedding celebrants who want to get their wedding business organised and working in the best way for them.
  • For celebrants who know they need to make changes to certain areas of the business but don’t know how.
  • For celebrants who are feeling overwhelmed by the coming year and want to put a plan of action together.
  • For celebrants who want to start this year with a massive dose of confidence, clarity and motivation

How will it work?

Using video conferencing technology we are going to meet in a virtual classroom where together I will help you to work on your goals in a live and interactive setting. All attendees will be able to see me, but you won’t be able to see or hear one another unless you choose to. Otherwise communication can be done via the classroom chat box, or you can raise your hand and ask a question via your computer or device microphone. The joys of technology!

Once class gets started, I am going to guide you through an extensive planning process using a specially created workbook to get you focusing on yours and your business needs. There and then we will set out your year to come.

And whilst you don’t need to share your goals with anyone but yourself, working on them in this group classroom environment, is amazingly powerful and a great way to get you fired up and ready for your new year of business.

What will the workshop entail?

We’re going to start off with a little business health check and some self-assessment. A business health-check is where you review your business and its current state. You can’t build a house without foundations, and you can’t plan for your business without having a solid grasp of your business in place first.

Once that’s done, we’ll start to get clear on what you want to achieve and accomplish for 2020 and apply this to all areas of your business, in order to put your goals and tasks in place. From your prices and pricing strategy, social media marketing to your bookings and enquiries, we’re going to create a plan of action for your business to make 2020 your best year yet.

You will be surprised by how far small, intentional steps can take you and your business!

After the workshop, you’ll also receive 11 further months of encouragement and accountability from me via my cheerleading, support-filled emails, where I’ll check in with you once a month to see how you’ve been actioning your goals and carrying out your plans.


Meet the host

Hi I’m Natasha, your awesome Celebrant cheerleader and founder of the Celebrants Collective and the award-winning wedding blog, Engaged and Ready.

I know what it is to be a celebrant, and a successful one at that. I’ve been an Independent wedding celebrant since 2007, when I started with three weddings, and now I run a small team of wedding associates who spread love all around the Costa del Sol, in Spain. I have seen it all and been through all of the highs and lows that come with being a wedding celebrant. And by the way, when I say I am successful, I mean successful in my own definition, not anyone else’s – and this dear celebrants, is the key!

My mission is to help celebrants to be the best they can be, to reach their own levels of success and to enjoy this awesome path that they’re on. I do this through my Celebrants Collective membership platform, my celebrant workshops, events and retreats, 1:1 mentoring and business boosting and my Celebrant Survival Podcast. There isn’t a day that goes by where I’m not motivating, helping or championing celebrants.

When and where?

The workshop will take place in my virtual classroom on Wednesday 15th January, 2020 @ 1000 GMT, and will last for approximately 2.5 hours. Once you’re signed up, you’ll be sent a link to join the workshop at the specified time and date. If you cannot attend in person, you’ll be sent a link to the video recording where you can take part in this planning session at your leisure.
